This year's event helped raise over $500 that will be used by the OUS/OTS to help with the cost associated with hosting a Provincial, Ultra, and trail running series in Ontario.

Special thanks to all Volunteers especially Helen Malmberg, Sharon Zelinski, and Howard Parker who helped with registration, along with John Turner and Brian Hutson who did a great job on the lap counting station.

Thanks to our Loyal Sponsor (Runner's Choice) who donated eight $25.00 Gift Certificates, to John Remington for donating a bunch of running related books and helping to set up at the start/finish area.

Thanks to all OUS/OTS Directors who donated one free entry into their event. Grand Prize was won by Ronald Gehl of Kitchener.

We are very grateful to our friends at St. John Ambulance who came out and stayed at the start/finish area from 10am-2pm to assist any runners who needed first aid. On April 25th, please support their ½ Marathon in Kitchener-Waterloo.

And last but least, a special thanks to my wonderful wife Gina. Without her support and encouragement I would be a sumo wrestler.

Looking forward to seeing you all at the Ganaraska 25/50km Trail race, on Saturday April 24th. Good luck to all runners who plan on running Around the Bay 30km in Hamilton on March 28. Stop in and visit the OUS/OTS booth at the running expo there.
