Fun Without Limit!

Start Time: 9:00 AM
Start:  Race starts at the Avening Community Centre on Airport road.  google map
Course 1: A 16K loop on country roads with some trails.  This loop will be lead by bunnies so that no  runners get lost and are eaten by wolves, again.  Expect to get your ankles wet!
Course 2: A marked 7.4 K loop on trails and country roads.  Those who have run the Creemore race   will recall how easy the first 6.4K is and the excitement of the final kilometer.  Small    sections of the course are slippery.
Distances: Multiples of 7.4K and/or 16K that can be completed before the unofficial 3:00 PM cutoff.    Runners will have the option of posting their laps on the lap board at the aid station.
Start/finish: Washrooms at the Avening CC.
Aid Station: Water, HEED, food and a bonfire.  Only 1 aid station, so bring a water bottle.
Fees:  $35.  On-line, same-day registration or mail a cheque, payable to Ontario Ultra Series, to    Pierre Marcoux, RR 3 Box 30, Creemore, Ontario L0M 1G0.
Post Run: 1:00 PM:  Pizza and awards at the Avening CC.
  2:00 PM:  Refreshments and a bonfire at the aid station.
Directions: From Airport Road and highway 89, take Airport Road north 15 minutes to Avening.  The   community centre is on the east side of Airport road.
Supporting: 100% of proceeds will be directed to the Ontario Ultra/Trail Series (OUS/OTS).
Prizes:  Grand prize and some spot prizes.  Hint:  It’s maple syrup season!
Grand Prize: One person who has paid entry to the fun run will be eligible for free entry to the following   events in the 2009 season.  The winner does not need to be present at the fun run during the draw and can pay the difference to run races longer than 50K.  The prize is not transferable.
