Start Time:  7:00 am for registered Early Starters.  8:00 am is Official Start.
To be eligible to win a first place in any category or to place TOP 3 overall, you must start at the Official Start time.
Location
: Kilbride School, Kilbride - 15 minutes north of Burlington, just west of Guelph Line. REGISTRATION- Inside the school  
Parking - Early starters will be in P-Lots but due to new fencing,  parking will be directed to the back fields.

Course: Rugged trail running test that offers 7 major climbs over varied surfaces of trail, road, gravel, rocks and double creek crossing (you will get wet feet at ~3 km and ~6 km).   map new map of the course to be published on the Burlington Runners Website in Summer 2008.
2008 Course similar to 2007.

Time Limit
: 7:00 am Early start (Revenge of the Back of the Packers) recommended for 4 hour plus marathoners. Appleby Line Aid station(~21km) closes when sweep patrol arrives or by 10:30.
Entry Limit: Strict limit of 175 entries….Don’t be disappointed.
Facilities:
Showers in change rooms of elementary school.
Aid Stations:
6 fully stocked aid stations including fluids, fruit and snacks, but carrying a water bottle is strongly recommended.
Timing:  ChampionChip Timing for fast and accurate results.
Fees:
   $49 on or before August 3rd 2008 . $60 after August 3rd, 2008. Non-refundable after Aug 3rd. Refund minus $10 administration fee before Aug 3rd.  If there is space on race day,
$60 Cash only will be accepted.

Stocked Aid stations including fluids, fruit and snacks, but carrying a water bottle is strongly recommended in hot and humid conditions.
Awards: First 150 runners guaranteed special commemorative registration gift.. Top 3 Age Group awards for M/F OPEN, M/F 40-49, M/F 50+. Special Young Gun 1st M/F under 21.
Special Finisher's Rock to all Finishers. Good Neighbour Rock to all out-of-province runners.
Team Challenge: Each entrant will randomly be assigned to Team Niagara or Team Tobermory.   Team with lowest combined time wins special gift award to each Team member.

>>>From Hamilton: Take 403 to QEW to Toronto. Exit at the Guelph Line and travel North ~18 minutes. Turn Left on # 8 Side Road which is just after leaving the Hamlet of Lowville (you will understand why it is aptly named). Travel 2 km to stop sign. Continue down Side Road for another 300 m until you turn right on Paton and you are 250 m from the school entrance.
>>>From Toronto (South): Take the QEW to Niagara. Exit at Guelph Line and follow the above.
>>>From London/Kitchener/Guelph: Take the 401 to Guelph Line (Same exit to Mohawk Raceway). Proceed South (right) and travel 10 minutes (you will pass trough Campbellville then Crawford Lake Conservation Area and finally a Mushroom factory when you hit a intersection Derry Rd (Lights) Esso Gas & Convenience store on opposite corner. Turn Right (west) 2 km to Stop Sign Kilbride Rd/Twiss Rd. Turn LEFT (South). Follow Kilbride Rd South for 2 km. After the big bend and you will come up to Kilbride Public School on your right at the Stop Sign.

For the kids: The 8th Annual Iroquoia Trail Quiz Kids Run.  Free for all kids under 13.  Kids Run starts at 10 am.  Sign in begins around 9:30 am at Finish Line.  Please contact RD- Geoff sheppardhg@cogeco.ca  to help confirm numbers. No set distances. We aim to match participant ages. If they can walk they can run. Award and Goodie Bag for all kids.

Release Waiver and Indemnity

To participate in the Iroquoia Trail Test on Saturday August 18th, 2007,  I accept, have read and understand all rules and regulations of the Ontario Ultra/Trail Series and of this specific event that I am entering and will comply fully with them. I am aware that a run of the distance and conditions specified for the specific event I am entering, may be extremely difficult and hazardous even for well-conditioned athletes under the most favourable conditions. I am also aware of the risks of adverse weather conditions, which may accompany the event on the day of my participation. I understand that I should not participate in this event unless: (1) I am in excellent physical condition, (2) I have trained adequately for this event, and (3) I have no medical condition that might be worsened by vigorous activity.
